Group Head of O&M / Asset Managment

Function: Global EPC for marine renewable energy mainstream. Company funded by a number of private and public shareholders and through grant support.
Technology: Leading provider of project development and management consultancy services to the wind industry.
Engineering R&D Division: 60 people, comprises engineers, resource analysts, site developers, commercial analysts and public affairs specialists
Job location: Denkmark / flexible work locations among Northern Europe


JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Group Head of O&M/Asset Management
Report: CEO
Mission: Develop and act as the Head of O&M/AM department reporting to the group CEO.
  • Responsible for the business development world wide
  • Responsible for attracting, developing and retaining the right competencies in the team
Responsibilities: Advise the clients on various subjects in respect of:
  • On- & Offshore Asset Management
  • Operation & Maintenance design and management.
  • Contractor/Service Provider review/assessment. 
    • Liaising with plant operators and suppliers. 
    • Monitor the quality of service methodology and parts suppliers to ensure the operation of the wind farm.
  • Project planning and implementation 
    • Organise transport logistics, including the aspects of economy. 
    • Ensure that Health & Safety & Environmental procedures are met and adhered too
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore/Marine Eng. or a related subject; Chartered, or near completion of Chartered status, with IMechE or similar body

Experience: 
  • +10 years experience in wind turbine operations & maintenance, onshore and offshore service business
  • Experience with legal requirements connected to operating turbines or similar (power plants)
  • Experience in logistics and spare parts of large scale components
Key driver: Dynamic nature of the offshore wind power market. Changes that may be required at a corporate level
Languages: Fluent command of English and Deutsch, both written and spoken
Skills: 
  • Independent, results-oriented work approach, complemented by confidence and team spirit.
  • Proven problem-solving as well as planning and organisational skills
  • Well developed analytical capabilities
